South Beach Hotel is a heritage pub on South Terrace in South Fremantle, a short walk from South Beach. It runs a bar and bistro with live music, craft beer on rotation and a dog-friendly attitude. The Courtyard is the most spacious of its three function spaces. It is an open-plan area at the centre of the pub, framed by indoor greenery and opening bi-fold doors, with a mix of booths, high tables and low tables. The space holds up to 180 for a cocktail-style party or 150 seated. Groups usually take a reserved section with no hire fee, while fully private use of the whole courtyard carries a $15,000 minimum spend. Heaters keep it comfortable through the cooler months, and the bar sits right alongside. There is wheelchair access and an accessible toilet, and private AV can be arranged on request. Catering runs from canapés and platters for 12 to pizzas, a high tea and sit-down set menus from $45 per person. Drinks can go on a bar tab with a set limit, run as a cash bar, or combine both. Canapés cost $3 to $6 each with a minimum of 10 per item, platters for 12 cost $100 to $200, and the high tea for four is $140. A $200 deposit confirms the booking and is credited to your food and drinks bill.
