About Matilda Bay Restaurant
Matilda Bay Restaurant sits on Hackett Drive in Crawley, on the Matilda Bay foreshore of the Swan River. The windows look across the water to the city skyline, and free parking is available. There are three function rooms, all served by the restaurant's own kitchens. The Roe Room is upstairs with lift access, a built-in dance floor and views over the river and city, seating 70 to 140 or holding up to 250 for a cocktail-style event. The Catalina Room sits right on the water and opens onto its own alfresco patio, which suits pre-dinner drinks. It seats 30 to 50 or takes 40 to 100 or more standing, and a clear marquee can be added over the paving. The Wine Room is a private dining room beside the main restaurant for 12 to 20 guests, using the a la carte or set menus. Larger outdoor events can also be held in a marquee in the reserve next door. Cocktail menus mix canapes, bowl food and stations such as wood-fired pizza, dumplings or paella, and sit-down functions use a three-course set menu. Drinks run as timed beverage packages or on consumption. Each room comes with tables, linen, table settings and a function coordinator. The Catalina and Roe Rooms also include a lectern, microphone, projector and screen, plus air-conditioning.
