About Hillarys Beach Club
Hillarys Beach Club sits right beside the beach on John Wilkie Tarn in Hillarys. Downstairs there is Bar Cicchetti, a casual Italian-style bar and café, and upstairs is The Heart, a pub with an English feel and wide ocean views. Both floors have spaces that can be booked for private celebrations. Bert's Ballroom is the main party room, a downstairs space with its own bar, private amenities and an adjoining alfresco area. The ballroom takes up to 150 guests for a cocktail party or 60 seated, with high tables, low tables and chesterfield couches. It comes with a projector, screen and microphone, and DJ equipment can be hired. Upstairs, The View is a semi-private corner of The Heart with high tables and sea views for up to 40 at a canapé party. The Private Dining room seats up to 24 across two tables, and a sectioned-off alfresco area downstairs suits a casual group of 30. Function food runs from canapés, slab pizzas and tacos to two or three course set menus served alternate drop. Grazing tables and an oyster bar can be added, and breakfast functions are offered downstairs. Drinks are handled through three or four hour packages, a bar tab with a limit you set, or a cash bar. Each space has its own hire fee and most carry a minimum spend, so send an enquiry to match a room to your numbers.
