About Front Beer Garden @ Ocean View Tavern
Ocean View Tavern is a family-owned country-style pub on Wanneroo Road in Neerabup, with a bistro, a TAB, a drive-through bottle shop and a large outdoor area facing bushland. Live music plays in the beer garden on weekends. The Front Beer Garden is the tavern's main function space. Booked exclusively it holds 90 to 200 guests, while groups of 20 to 80 can reserve part of it without taking the whole garden. Exclusive hire covers the stage, the veranda, a grassed dance area, outdoor furniture, festoon and tree lighting, and the event floor space. Shade sails cover much of the seating, and because it is an outdoor space, marquees can be arranged separately if the weather looks doubtful. Function food starts at 20 guests and comes as sharing platters, from pub classics and grazing boards to sliders, tacos and skewers. A private pizza chef can also fire wood-fired pizzas on the night for beer garden functions. A private outdoor bar with its own bartender can be added, or you can run a bar tab tailored to the event. Food

How many guests fit in the Front Beer Garden?
Exclusive hire of the Front Beer Garden suits 90 to 200 guests. Groups of 20 to 80 can book a reserved, non-exclusive part of the garden instead.
What is the minimum spend?
Exclusive use carries a minimum spend of $2,000 Monday to Thursday and $4,000 on Friday and Saturday, and Saturday bookings run from 4pm to midnight. A $500 deposit secures the date and is credited against food and drinks on the day.
What comes with exclusive hire?
You get the stage and veranda, the grassed dance area, outdoor furniture, festoon and tree lighting, and the event floor space. Patio heaters can be added at $30 each.
Are there rules for 18th and 21st birthdays?
Yes. Security guards are required, with a minimum of two: the venue supplies one and the host arranges the other. Pricing is given on request.
Can we bring our own cake?
Yes. A $30 cake fee covers cutting by the chef, share platters, plates, cutlery and napkins. Cupcakes, or a cake you cut and serve yourself, carry no charge, and cakes can be kept in the cool room for free.
