It has been a local meeting place for well over a century, and several parts of the building can be booked for functions. The Balcony Bar is the private option. It is a heritage room with its own bar and tap beers, a dance floor and two large balconies, holding from 30 to 190 guests, and it is the one space with a hire fee. The Cocktail Lounge sits beside the main bar with a mix of high and low seating for 40 to 80, and it is a warm spot in winter. The Beer Garden takes 10 to 150 under shade sails and umbrellas, while The Stage seats 10 to 60 for a sit-down meal. Catering is ordered by the platter, each made for six to eight people, from arancini and calamari to sliders, sandwiches and pizza slabs. Grazing tables are available for groups of 20 to 30 or 60 to 80. Dixeys Bar, the late-night bar, can reserve a corner for a group with bottomless pizza packages, though it cannot be hired exclusively. Elsewhere, drinks can run on a bar tab that is settled at the end of the function. A $200 deposit confirms a booking and outside food and drinks are not allowed, but a celebration cake can come in free of charge.
