About Roll Up In Style

Roll Up In Style is a family-owned, accredited private hire operator in Peakhurst, run by Jeff and Cheryl. The fleet is small and personal: six classic British cars, each with a traceable history and a personalised number plate, all air conditioned and fitted with Bluetooth so the couple can play their own music. The Rolls-Royces are a pair of Silver Cloud IIs from 1960 and 1962, both first sold new in Melbourne and both in two-tone paint. The Bentleys are a 1957 S1 that came to Sydney from England in the 1960s, a 1961 S2 in teal over Georgian silver after a bare-metal restoration, which has appeared on Married At First Sight, and a 1962 S2 that has been driven in England, the United States and Australia. Each of these seats four passengers. The sixth car is a Daimler DS420, the long limousine favoured by royal households, which served in the diplomatic fleet in Hong Kong and takes six or seven guests. Each wedding is quoted as a custom package. Chauffeurs are uniformed and bring white ribbon, a red carpet, tyre covers, large umbrellas, water spray bottles to keep the flowers fresh, first aid and sewing kits, and champagne, water and light refreshments for the photo shoot. They will coordinate with other cars on the day, and travel from the showroom is free within greater Sydney. The cars also go out for anniversaries, engagements, school formals, birthdays and photo or film work. Couples usually book nine to twelve months ahead, and a date can be held for up to seven days while the church and reception are confirmed. The showroom is open for private viewings by appointment.

Roll Up In Style does not publish a price list; each wedding package is quoted to match the cars, hours and route you need. Weddings have a three-hour minimum and other occasions two hours, and time past the booked finish costs $50 per car for each 15 minutes. Travel from the Peakhurst showroom within greater Sydney is free, with a surcharge for trips further out. A 30 percent non-refundable deposit confirms the booking, the balance is due one month before the event, and credit card payments attract a 2.3 percent fee. Cancelling with less than four weeks' notice means paying the full amount.

Fleet & Booking Details

The fleet is a 1960 and a 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II, a 1957 Bentley S1, and a 1961 and a 1962 Bentley S2, each seating four, plus a Daimler DS420 limousine seating six to seven. All are air conditioned with Bluetooth audio. Bookings include a uniformed chauffeur, ribbon, red carpet, tyre covers, umbrellas, flower misters, first aid and sewing kits, champagne and light refreshments. Provisional holds last seven days, and private viewings are held at the Peakhurst showroom by appointment.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the minimum hire?

Weddings are booked for at least three hours, and time past the booked finish is billed in 15-minute blocks at $50 per car per block. Special occasions other than weddings have a two-hour minimum.

How many passengers fit in each car?

The Rolls-Royce Silver Clouds and the Bentleys each seat four adults plus the chauffeur. The Daimler DS420 limousine seats six to seven. Children under seven cannot travel, because the classic cars cannot be fitted with child restraints.

Can we hold a date before paying?

Yes. If the date is free, a car can be held on a provisional booking for up to seven days while you confirm your ceremony and reception venues. A 30 percent deposit then confirms it, and the balance is due a month before the wedding.

Do you travel outside Sydney?

Most bookings are within greater Sydney, where travel from the Peakhurst showroom is not charged. The cars also go to the Southern Highlands, Wollongong, the Blue Mountains and the Hunter Valley from time to time, with a surcharge quoted for the distance.

What if a car breaks down?

The cars are serviced by qualified Rolls-Royce mechanics and covered by NRMA roadside assistance. If a booked car cannot run, the team arranges the closest available match, or, with enough notice, a refund of the money paid if you prefer.
