About DeBlanco Wedding Cars

DeBlanco Wedding Cars has been driving Sydney weddings since 1999 from a showroom in Glenwood, in the Hills about ten kilometres from Parramatta. It mixes stretch limousines with prestige sedans and convertibles, so a couple can ride in something low and striking while the bridal party follows in a limo. The group vehicles are an Audi Q7 stretch, roughly 200 inches long with leather lounges, a mini bar, ambient lighting and a Pioneer sound system, and a 2013 Chrysler 300C limousine on oversized alloy wheels that seats around ten. For the couple there are Rolls-Royces, a white 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo convertible, a Maserati GranCabrio, a Mercedes E-Class convertible with AMG styling for up to three, a white Mercedes G-Wagon and a Chrysler 300C sedan for four. Harley-Davidson motorbike escorts can ride ahead of the cars. Chauffeurs are uniformed, and DeBlanco says it is the only limousine service in Sydney offering female drivers. The cars can be dressed with white ribbon and a red carpet, and they carry umbrellas, tyre covers, baby wipes and two-way radios so a convoy stays together. The full wedding package adds champagne with biscuits, cheese and dips served at the photo stop, plus soft drinks for the bridal party. Beyond weddings, the fleet is booked for school formals, graduations, anniversaries, Valentine's Day dinners and surprise proposals. Wedding bookings run for at least three hours, and couples often lock in their cars six to twelve months ahead, sometimes as much as eighteen. Every job is quoted individually, a 40 percent deposit per vehicle secures the date, and the showroom opens by appointment so you can sit in the car you are booking.

DeBlanco does not publish a rate card. Every booking is quoted on the car or cars, the hours, the pick-up and destination and the number of passengers, and wedding hire has a three-hour minimum. A deposit of 40 percent per vehicle holds the date, wedding balances are due three weeks before the day, and general hire is paid on arrival at the pick-up. Cancelling within three months of a wedding means paying the full amount, and deposits are kept on earlier cancellations. Visa and Mastercard payments carry a 3 percent surcharge.

What is the minimum hire for a wedding?

Wedding cars are generally booked for at least three hours. Shorter transfers, such as the run from the ceremony to the reception, can be arranged separately if you call to discuss it.

Can we bring our own drinks?

Pre-mixed drinks are allowed in the vehicles. Depending on the package, complimentary champagne, soft drinks and bottled water are also supplied. All cars are non-smoking.
