About Moroccan Courtyard @ La Porte Space
La Porte Space is on Epsom Road in Rosebery, a collection of styled event spaces, and the Moroccan Courtyard is its private outdoor room. Enclosed and sheltered, it feels intimate despite holding a crowd: pale rendered walls, raised planting beds and climbing greenery frame the space and let dappled sunlight through. The floor is the feature — a patterned encaustic-style tile surface that photographs beautifully, which is why the courtyard is popular for engagements and styled celebrations. It holds up to 300 standing or 50 seated, with timber bench seating and a step-free entrance. Wi-Fi is available, and you can play your own music or bring an external DJ. Catering is flexible: the venue can organise food, or you can bring your own caterer with no buyout fee. The venue doesn't supply alcohol, so ask La Porte how drinks are handled for your event. There's free on-street parking plus paid parking on site. Note that the venue's spaces are compact and connected, so plan how guests move between them.
