About Moroccan Courtyard @ La Porte Space
La Porte Space on Epsom Road in Rosebery is a group of styled event spaces, and the Moroccan Courtyard is the private one outdoors. It is enclosed and sheltered, so it keeps an intimate feel even with a big crowd. The walls are rendered in a pale finish, with raised garden beds and greenery growing up them, and the sun comes through in patches. The tiled floor is what people remember. Its patterned, encaustic-style surface looks great in photos, which is a big part of why engagements and styled celebrations book here. The courtyard takes up to 300 standing or 50 seated, with timber benches and a step-free entry. There's Wi-Fi, and you're free to play your own music or bring in a DJ. Food is flexible. The venue can arrange catering, or you can use your own caterer and pay no buyout fee. Alcohol isn't supplied by the venue, so check with La Porte how drinks will work for your event.
