About Polyanthi
Polyanthi is a florist in Vaucluse, founded in 2020 by Francesca, who leads its team of florists. The name is Greek for 'many flowers', which sums up the style: abundant, sculptural and layered, with blooms bought fresh from local suppliers every week. Alongside the shop's everyday flowers, a big share of the work is weddings, events and custom pieces. On the event side, Polyanthi designs flower and plant installations of all sizes for venues, restaurants, homes and events in Sydney and elsewhere in Australia. Clients have used the team for corporate events, themed birthday parties and gatherings with friends. At weddings the team has built hanging installations over reception tables, ceremony arches and urn arrangements, cake-table flowers and candlelit tables, often moving the ceremony pieces through to the reception so they work twice. Vaucluse House is a regular venue. The shop is at Shop 1, 777 Old South Head Road, Vaucluse, beside Christison Park, and trades on weekdays from 8am until 5pm and on Saturdays from 9am until 3pm. Event enquiries go through a short form on the website, by phone or by email, and the team follows up to talk through the ideas. Everyday deliveries cover suburbs within 50 kilometres of the shop.
