About Tranquil Park
Tranquil Park sits on Mountain View Road in Maleny, on the southern edge of the Blackall Range. The property looks south across the hinterland to the Glass House Mountains, and runs weddings, conferences and private functions alongside its own bar and guest rooms. There are three rooms to choose from. The Glasshouse Room covers 250 square metres, with full-height windows, a dance floor, a bar and an adjoining outdoor deck. It holds up to 200 standing or 150 at round tables. The Deck Room sits next to Patrick's Irish Bar and opens through big sliding doors onto a balcony and deck. It seats up to 100 at rustic long tables or takes 120 for a cocktail-style event, and can be closed off from the bar with its own entrance. The smaller Mountain Room suits boardroom meetings for up to 18. Couples can marry in the ceremony garden or on the deck, then move straight inside for the reception. Wedding dining runs from grazing stations and canapés through to buffets, cocktail menus and two or three-course sit-down meals, and the kitchen handles most dietary needs. The venue is fully licensed, so drinks come through the bar as a timed package, a bar tab or a cash bar, and BYO alcohol is not allowed. Rooms include tables, chairs, linen, crockery, glassware and a house sound system, with a projector and screen for presentations. The bar winds down at 10.30pm and guests leave by 11pm. Wedding reception hire is $2,000 for up to 60 guests and $3,000 for larger groups, and ceremony hire is $1,000. The venue hire fee secures your date and is not refundable, with further instalments due six and three months out and the balance 30 days before.

The chef caters for most dietary requirements when they are supplied with final guest details. Conference packages include morning or afternoon tea and lunch.

What does room hire cost?
Function room hire starts at $500 for the Deck Room and $750 for the Glasshouse Room, with the Mountain Room at $350 for meetings. For weddings, reception hire is $2,000 for up to 60 guests and $3,000 above that, and a ceremony in the garden or on the deck is $1,000.
Can we bring our own drinks?
No. Tranquil Park is fully licensed and does not allow BYO alcohol. You can set up a beverage package, run a bar tab or let guests buy their own drinks at the bar.
What time do functions finish?
Last drinks are called at 10.15pm and the bar shuts at 10.30pm. Music stops at 10.45pm and all guests need to have left the venue by 11pm.
Can we use our own caterer or suppliers?
Yes. You can bring your preferred wedding suppliers as long as their details are passed on beforehand. An outside caterer attracts a $500 fee plus $10 per person for crockery, cutlery and linen.
