About The Surf Club Mooloolaba
Bayview Restaurant & Bar is the upper level of The Surf Club Mooloolaba, on the Esplanade right at the beach. The room covers the whole top floor and looks across the water from Point Cartwright to Mount Coolum and north towards Noosa. Weddings and private events here suit 80 to 120 guests. Hosts can set it up as a seated lunch or dinner in the dining room or as a looser cocktail party with canapés on the deck. The enclosed deck has large windows that open to the ocean air, so guests can gather with a drink from the private bar before moving inside. Exclusive use of Bayview is offered on a limited number of dates. Beyond weddings, the room takes birthdays, engagement parties, anniversaries, Christmas parties and corporate functions. Groups of 20 or more book through the functions enquiry, while smaller tables go through reception. Catering is handled in-house, with packages and drinks options shaped around the style, size and budget of each event. For a beach wedding, the parklands beside the club make an easy ceremony spot a short walk from the room.
