Sully's Rooftop is on level 12 at 10 Brisbane Road in Mooloolaba, above the Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel. It trades as a rooftop bar and restaurant, with share plates, cocktails and long views over the beach and back towards the hinterland. For private groups, the venue sets aside a dedicated function space for 20 to 50 guests. It sits close to the bar with the coastline as a backdrop, so your group has its own area while the rest of the rooftop carries on around it. A minimum spend can apply to the function space, starting from $3,000, and the functions team confirms the figure for your date and numbers. The wider rooftop takes in a dining room, a dining terrace and a bar terrace. Function food is served canapé-style, with hot and cold bites from $60 per person for a choice of three items and extra selections at $10 per person. Substantial dishes and sweets can be added, and the kitchen caters for dietary needs with notice. Drinks packages run for two hours, from a standard option with prosecco, house wines, local tap beer and soft drinks to a premium option with higher-end wines and every tap beer.
