About The Dock Mooloolaba
The Dock Mooloolaba is a waterfront pub and dining room on the marina at The Wharf, 123 Parkyn Parade, looking across the Mooloolah River. It mixes indoor rooms with an open-air beer garden and outdoor decks, and the kitchen leans on seafood and pub favourites. Four spaces can be set aside for functions. The River Bar is ringed by windows facing the marina, has its own bar and AV, and holds 100 guests when hired in full or 50 on a half hire. The Lounge is a raised, semi-private corner off the main floor for up to 25 people standing. The Private Dining Room seats 42 behind glass doors with a large screen and HDMI, while the rear Dining Room takes up to 104 seated for long lunches and bigger dinners. Canapé packages start at $24 per person for four pieces, rising to six and eight piece options, with substantial items, a grazing table and pizza packs as extras. Seated groups can choose two or three course set menus served alternate drop or shared down the table. Drinks run as a standard, premium or deluxe package over two to four hours, as a bar tab you cap and adjust, or as a cash bar. Function packages suit groups of 20 to 100, minimum spends apply, and a photobooth can be added to any space.

Canapé packages are $24 per person for four pieces, $36 for six and $48 for eight. A two-course alternate-drop set menu is $55 per person for 12 guests or more. For 20 guests or more, shared or alternate menus run from $65 per person for two courses to $85 per person for three.
How do drinks work at a function?
Standard, premium and deluxe packages run for two, three or four hours, starting at $55 per person for two hours of the standard package, for 20 guests or more. You can also set a bar tab with a limit you adjust on the night, or let guests buy their own drinks.
Is there AV for speeches or presentations?
Yes. The River Bar has its own AV setup, and the Private Dining Room has a large screen with HDMI, plus glass doors that close for privacy.
What size groups do functions suit?
Function packages are designed for 20 to 100 guests, and minimum spends apply to bookings. Groups under 20 can ask for a tailored quote.

Very fresh prawns and seafood platter with fried squid was great. Quite pricey for the quantity of food, but reasonably priced beer makes up for it. Great service and views are great too from the pier.
