About Wharf Events
Wharf Events is a private function venue on the first floor of The Wharf, on Parkyn Parade in Mooloolaba. Its windows run floor to ceiling and look out across the marina and the Mooloolah River. The room has a vaulted ceiling hung with greenery and dimmable pendant lights, a private bar, a dance floor and access to a balcony. Furniture, white linen and centrepieces come with every booking. The full floor seats 180 at round tables, takes 150 cabaret or 200 theatre style, and holds 250 for a cocktail party. A partition wall allows sectional hire for 20 to 80 guests, and the minimum for any event is 20. All food is cooked in the on-site kitchen, from canapé packages and grazing stations to plated and shared-style dinners. Dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free are catered for. The private bar is run by the venue's own bar staff, with drinks packages by the hour, a bar tab or a cash bar. The AV setup covers two projectors with screens, a lectern, microphones and an in-house sound system, and bands and DJs are welcome. There is no venue hire fee, though minimum spends apply and change by date. A dedicated coordinator looks after each event, and site visits are by appointment.

Alternate plated menus are $75 per person for two courses or $90 for three. Shared-style family dining is $90 per person for two courses or $105 for three.
Conference packages are $55 per person for a half day and $75 for a full day, and a plated breakfast is $50 per person.
Food
Grazing stations include antipasto, oysters, seafood and sliders. Plated menus offer dishes such as barramundi, potato gnocchi, chicken breast and eye fillet, and vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free needs are catered for.
Beverages
Spritzes, cocktails or mocktails on arrival can be added. Hosts can also set a bar tab with a chosen limit, or run a cash bar where guests buy their own drinks.

Canapé packages cost $36 per person for six pieces, $48 for eight and $60 for ten. Alternate plated dinners are $75 per person for two courses or $90 for three, and shared-style family dining is $90 or $105 per person. Grazing stations, sliders, substantial items and dessert canapés can be added.
Can we have a band or DJ?
Yes. Bands, solo musicians, acoustic duos and DJs all suit the room, and the sound system is set up for live music. A dance floor is included at no extra cost.
How late can a party run?
Celebrations can go until midnight, which is when the liquor licence ends. The room is wheelchair accessible, and the precinct has limited free parking with a paid car park a short walk away.
