About The Rocks Yandina
The Rocks Yandina is a private event property on Yandina Coolum Road, set on about 90 acres along the Maroochy River in the hinterland. Every booking has the grounds to itself, so there is no sharing with another party on the day. Four spaces can be used alone or together. The River View Function Room is an elevated, weatherproof room that seats up to 110, and the Riverside Terrace above the water seats up to 120 for long-table dinners as the sun goes down. The Grove is a grassy, tree-framed lawn strung with festoon lights, with its own timber bar and room for up to 300 guests seated or standing. Beyond it, open riverside grounds take marquee or tipi events, with numbers set by the structure you choose. Weddings can run from ceremony to reception on site, with riverside lawns for the vows. The wedding packages are all-inclusive, covering catering, drinks, staff, furniture, décor and ceremony and reception florals. Menus are prepared in-house from local produce, from canapés and shared dishes to seated dinners and working lunches, and dietary needs are handled with notice. Corporate groups can add microphones, speakers and projector set-ups. A small on-site house sleeps up to eight, which suits the couple or close family. How many guests can The Rocks Yandina hold?
The Grove lawn takes up to 300 guests seated or as a cocktail event. The Riverside Terrace seats up to 120 and the River View Function Room seats up to 110, while marquee and tipi events on the open grounds are sized to suit.
Is the venue exclusive to our event?
Yes. The property is booked privately, and weddings have the venue to themselves for the day with no shared spaces.
Can we hold the ceremony and reception in the same place?
Yes. There are riverside lawns for the ceremony and several reception spaces, so the whole wedding can stay on site. Wedding packages include catering, drinks, staff, furniture, décor and florals.
What celebrations does the venue host apart from weddings?
Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, vow renewals and celebration of life gatherings are all hosted here, along with conferences, training days, retreats and corporate dinners. Events can run during the day or into the evening.
Is AV available for presentations?
Yes. The team can arrange microphones, speakers and projector set-ups for corporate events, so let them know your needs ahead of time. A deposit is needed to confirm any booking.
