About Flaxton Gardens
Flaxton Gardens is a garden estate and restaurant on Flaxton Drive in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. From its ridge the outlook stretches across green farmland all the way to the coastline, and the grounds are set up for weddings, private functions and public events. Inside there are several rooms to choose from. The Barrel Room suits smaller daytime groups from 20 guests, the Vineyard Room sits in the middle, and the Winery is the large event room for 50 guests or more. The Winery and the restaurant are both air-conditioned. Outside, the terrace, escarpment lawn and arbour give couples three spots for an outdoor ceremony. The main event space seats 280, and a clear or white-roofed marquee lifts that to as many as 400 guests. Private functions follow set menus. The celebration menu covers birthdays, baby showers and anniversaries, and there are also luxury dinners, tapas and cocktail parties, a rustic barbecue on the terrace, school formals and corporate menus. Weddings have their own range of packages, from elopements and micro weddings to all-inclusive days that bundle a celebrant, florals, styling, music, photography and a drinks package. Some wedding packages also include on-site accommodation for a small group on the night.

A beautiful spot with decent food to match. We were lucky to get a spot without a booking on a weekday but I reckon it would be quite busy on the weekends. The views are truly beautiful and grounds are well kept and lush…
