About Parklands Tavern
Parklands Tavern is a local pub on Parklands Boulevard in Meridan Plains, on the southern Sunshine Coast. Alongside its bistro, sports bar and bottle shop, it runs three separate spaces for functions and private parties. The Birdcage is an enclosed room dressed with vintage birdcages, potted ferns and botanical wallpaper. The tavern lists it at 60 seated or 70 standing, and it opens onto the garden for photos. The Chook House is a garden courtyard with picnic tables, market umbrellas, artificial turf and a fairy-lit tree in the middle. It has exposed brick, barn doors, pool tables and a small raised stage, and takes 30 seated or 70 standing. The Yard Bar is the big outdoor area with raised garden beds, a vintage tractor and a stage for a performer or an arch. It seats 200 or holds 300 standing, which suits large birthdays and work parties. The function menus run from finger food selections to pub classic dinners and plated two or three course meals, with dietary codes marked on each dish. Hosts choose between a bar tab and a cash bar, and cocktail packages are available on request. The tavern hosts corporate functions, private parties, birthdays and weddings. Cracking local pub with a good atmosphere and plenty going on. Solid pub grub, cold beers and the sports bar is unreal for watching a game on the massive screen. The Yard Bar is a good spot to kick back as well.
