About Sunshine Coast Turf Club
The Sunshine Coast Turf Club runs the racecourse on Pierce Avenue in Caloundra, and its events team hires out function spaces on race days and non-race days. You don't need to be a member to book, and the team handles set-up, service, styling and entertainment bookings. The Glasshouse is the smallest room, a glass-walled space in the Members Enclosure with a private bar and balcony for 30 to 50 cocktail guests or 20 to 24 seated. The two-storey TAB Greenhouse takes 40 to 60 with a courtyard and a barbecue menu. The Atrium overlooks the track from an elevated position and seats up to 150 across its dining area, bar and booths, or 180 for cocktails. Atrium Dining, the Champagne Garden near the Winning Post and The Pavilion marquee with its own bar and betting facilities cover groups from about 50 to 230. At the top end, The Establishment is an indoor-outdoor venue for 150 to 300 guests that suits gala dinners, cocktail parties and launches. The Parade Ring Terrace is a casual undercover spot for 4 to 150 with platters from the bar and pizzeria. Menus range from canapés and progressive cocktail food to two- and three-course plated dinners. Drinks are handled with four- or five-hour packages, a bar tab or a cash bar. Rooms have in-house audio and screens for speeches, slideshows and presentations, and live music or a DJ can be arranged. The Atrium is licensed from 10am to midnight.
