Wedding Reception Venues in Noosa

Choosing the Right Wedding Reception Venue

Noosa's reception venues fall into three broad groups. Noosa Heads has a resort function room and two restaurants, Noosaville and Tewantin add riverside and marina settings, and Cooroy and Peregian Beach bring a brewery, a bowls club and a seasonal restaurant into the mix.

Guest numbers decide much of the shortlist:

Under 50: Peli's Noosa's private room takes 42, and Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club's river deck seats 40.
Around 60 to 70: Rock Salt Restaurant seats about 60 exclusively, and Bask Restaurant seats 70 in its alfresco area.
Up to 140: RACV Noosa Resort's Noosa Sound Room seats 140 and splits in two for smaller weddings.
Larger crowds: Villa Noosa Hotel's Function Room seats 150 with its own dance floor, and Crackerjack takes up to 300.
Pricing guides run from $25 per person at Crackerjack to $95 per person at Rock Salt Restaurant and Bask Restaurant.

Rock Salt Restaurant meets the couple beforehand to set the menu, and a staff member runs the timing on the night.
The Ridge Noosa can be taken over inside and out onto its lawn, with sparkling on arrival, late-night food and a cake service as add-ons.
RACV Noosa Resort's undercover terrace suits an intimate reception lunch or dinner for 24.
Guests at RACV Noosa Resort can stay in its apartment-style accommodation, and big weddings can buy out the whole property.
