About Rock Salt Restaurant
Rock Salt is a modern Australian restaurant on Quamby Place in Noosa Heads. It looks out over Quamby Park, and the Noosa River is only a few steps away. For functions the restaurant is handed over to your group alone. There is an indoor dining room with crisp white linen and a long banquette, plus outdoor tables that sit among tropical planting with a view of the park. Seated events work for about 60 guests, while a cocktail-style gathering can stretch to 80. That makes it a good size for a wedding reception or a work function where the group wants the room to itself. The kitchen tailors the food to each booking. You can choose from à la carte dishes, shared tapas-style courses or canapés passed around for a standing crowd. The published sample function menu is $95 per person. It opens with shared entrees such as tempura asparagus and duck wontons, then a choice of mains like roast duck, crisp-skin salmon or char-grilled lamb with sides, and finishes with shared sweets. A lot of the customers are definitely regular retirees! They come back as the food is lovely and they allow byo. The ravioli is superb dish. The duck was also excellent but very large for one person
