About Crackerjack
Crackerjack is a bowls pub and restaurant on Opal Street in Cooroy, in the Noosa hinterland. The greens date back to a bowls club founded in 1944, and locals kept them going when the site was at risk of redevelopment. The kitchen leans on Asian flavours designed for sharing, with a handful of pub classics for the regulars. The look is a nod to the 1970s country bowlo, with lawn bowls trophies and memorabilia around the rooms. Functions can use three areas. The Banquet House is an air-conditioned indoor room for seated or cocktail events, with couches, a private bar, direct access to the greens and two lanes kept for your group. The Bowls Terrace mixes indoor and outdoor space beside the greens, and the Dining Room has a pool table, a fish tank, TVs and a view across the greens. Groups range from 20 to 300 guests and there is no venue hire fee. Packages start at $25 per person for a grazing board and a canapé selection, rise to $65 per person with an hour and a half of bowls and a welcome cocktail, and top out at $115 per person with two hours of bowls, dessert and a two-hour premium drinks package. You can also build your own menu from grazing boards, canapés, curries and other substantial bites, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices. Drinks run as a bar tab with wristbands or as two-hour packages, and microphones and TVs can be set up for speeches and slideshows. The venue plays music through its own speakers and can organise musicians, DJs, photographers or a photo booth at extra cost. Send an enquiry with your date, numbers and occasion to start planning.

Pricing
A snack platter of Asian-fusion bites is $10 per person for at least 20 people. A deposit and a minimum spend may apply in peak periods, and package payments are due seven days before the event.
Food
Curries, fish and chips or ribs can be added for $15 per person, and local ice cream tubs make an easy dessert. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices are available, and most dietary needs can be met with notice.

How many guests can Crackerjack host for a function?
Function bookings suit groups from 20 people up to 300, spread across the Banquet House, the Bowls Terrace, the Dining Room and the bowling greens.
Is there a venue hire charge?
No. Crackerjack does not charge for venue hire, so you pay for food and drinks. Packages start at $25 per person, and a minimum spend may apply during peak periods.
Can our group play barefoot bowls during the party?
Yes. The $65 and $115 per person packages include 90 minutes or two hours on the greens. Bowls can also be added at $10 per adult, and a lane can be hired exclusively for $80.
What drinks options are there for functions?
You can set up a bar tab with wristbands, or choose a two-hour package: $40 per person for beer, wine and soft drinks, or $50 per person for all beers, wines and house spirits. Extra hours and an arrival cocktail can be added.
Can we bring decorations and a cake?
Yes. There is space set aside for decorations, though confetti is not allowed. A cake service is available for a flat fee of $50, covering refrigeration, cutting, plates and napkins.
