About Noosa Heads Celebrant
Noosa Heads Celebrant is Jacqueline Gray, a marriage celebrant based in Noosa Heads who has conducted more than 3,000 wedding ceremonies. Her focus is small weddings: elopements, micro weddings, destination weddings and simple legal ceremonies at beaches, parks, lookouts, private homes and riverside spots around Noosa and along the Sunshine Coast. The registry-style option suits couples who simply need a legal marriage, minus the fuss. Her fee covers lodging your marriage notice, conducting the short ceremony, registering the marriage afterwards and a hand-calligraphy presentation certificate. You pick the setting, she can help choose it on the morning to suit the weather, and she will find volunteer witnesses if you arrive without two. For weddings with guests, there are three tiers. The Elopement Style ceremony suits 6 to 12 guests and includes the legals, ceremony options, vow samples and music. Simple & Intimate is a full service for up to 25 guests with a signing table, two chairs, an on-site rehearsal and a speaker. The Complete Package adds a ceremony built around your story, face-to-face or Zoom meetings and a quality PA system playing your music. Couples marrying from overseas can lodge their notice from home, then meet Jacqueline in Noosa Heads the day before to have their passports sighted.

Frequently asked questions
What is included in the simple legal ceremony?
She lodges your marriage notice, conducts the short ceremony, registers the marriage afterwards and gives you a hand-calligraphy presentation certificate. The certified certificate is ordered for you, with a separate registry fee.
Where can the ceremony be held?
Anywhere you choose, such as a beach, park, café, home or her private space in Noosa. Popular picks include Noosa Woods, Little Cove, Noosa Main Beach and the Noosaville riverfront.
Do we need our own witnesses?
Two witnesses are required. If you do not have them with you, Jacqueline will find or bring volunteers, and she is happy to take a few photos on your phone too.
Can couples from overseas marry in Noosa?
Yes. You have your notice witnessed at home and send it at least one month ahead, then catch up with her in Noosa Heads on the eve of the ceremony so she can sight your passports.
Is a council permit needed for a beach wedding?
If you are bringing styling, an arbour or furniture to Noosa's foreshore groves or beaches, a council wedding permit is required, and the fee depends on the location chosen.
