Life's Big Moments is the celebrant business of Kristy Grundon, a marriage celebrant on the Sunshine Coast. Her approach is simple: no two couples are the same, so no two ceremonies should be either. Each one is written fresh after she gets to know you, and her aim is to keep you and your guests relaxed and present while it happens. There are three wedding packages. The Big Moment is the full version: a ceremony shaped around you, as many calls, emails and meetings as you need, an on-site run-through at your venue beforehand, written help with your vows, keepsake vow cards printed with your words, a Bose PA with Bluetooth and a Sennheiser microphone, a signing table and chairs, a commemorative certificate and all the legal paperwork lodged for you. Nearest & Dearest is an intimate, elopement-style ceremony for groups of up to 20. It keeps the custom ceremony, the vow guide, the vow cards, the signing furniture and the paperwork. Signing the Deal is the stripped-back legal option for couples planning a destination celebration or who simply want to be married: the paperwork, the words the law requires and up to four people with you, at a spot you choose. Kristy also conducts vow renewals and baby namings. For weddings, she describes her style as calm, organised and fun while still meaningful.
