About Fancy and Free Weddings
Fancy and Free Weddings is the elopement and micro wedding business of Natalie Skye, a celebrant and wedding coordinator who works from Tewantin in Noosa. She has led more than 3,700 marriage ceremonies over close to two decades, and her packages combine the ceremony with the extras a small wedding usually needs, so couples deal with one person instead of a long list of suppliers. Each package is built around a theme. The No Fuss option keeps things simple with a 20-minute personalised ceremony, a jute rug and fresh rose petals, chilled champagne and ten instant Polaroid shots taken by Natalie. The Love Puppy package welcomes dogs at a beach or park ceremony and adds a 60-minute photographer, while Saddle Up pairs the vows with horses on Noosa North Shore. Vow & Vibration opens with a sound bath and energy healing session before the legal ceremony, and there are also celebrant-and-styling, gondola and moonlight options. Packages are designed for up to 40 guests. Many were first created for Noosa locations such as the river mouth, Woods Bay, Laguna Lookout and the botanic gardens at Lake Macdonald, but most can be moved to coastal and hinterland spots such as Coolum, Mooloolaba or Maleny, with a travel fee where needed. Extras include a videographer, a buttercream wedding cake, live acoustic music, flowers, hair and make-up and a styled picnic. Bookings need to be made at least a month before the ceremony so the Notice of Intended Marriage can be lodged in time, and legal witnesses can be arranged if you are eloping without guests.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests can a Fancy and Free package include?
Every package is built for a small group – no more than 40 guests in total – and several work for just the two of you.
Can we bring our dogs to the ceremony?
Yes. The Love Puppy package is built around dogs, with a beach or hinterland park location, dog treats, a jute rug, rose petals and a 60-minute photo shoot.
Do the packages only work in Noosa?
Many were first designed for Noosa spots, but most can move to beaches and hinterland settings elsewhere on the Sunshine Coast, with a travel fee where required.
How far ahead do we need to book?
At least one calendar month before the ceremony, because the Notice of Intended Marriage has to be lodged within that time. A 50% deposit secures the package.
What if we do not have witnesses?
Some packages need two witnesses aged over 18 to sign the marriage documents. If you are eloping on your own, legal witnesses can be added as an extra.
