About The Stirling Arms Hotel
The Stirling Arms Hotel is a family-owned heritage pub on James Street in Guildford, on the edge of the Swan Valley. It hosts events from small groups up to 500 guests, either cocktail style or seated, and has free parking for up to 200 cars. The Band Room is the main function room, holding 250 standing or 150 seated. It is a blank canvas with jarrah floors, a raised stage, a marble-style bar, projector and screen, surround sound and a microphone, and you can bring a DJ or photo booth. The art deco Lounge Bar has a chandelier-lit entrance, upholstered furniture and wall-mounted TVs, taking 100 standing or 70 seated. Half of it can be booked for a smaller event. Outside, part of the beer garden can be reserved for up to 100 standing or 60 seated. It has some roofing, wine barrels, trees strung with fairy lights and a large outdoor screen, and dogs are welcome. Catering ranges from platters, grazing boards and pizza trays to two- or three-course set menus and a full buffet for 40 or more. Drinks packages run for three to five hours, with spirits and arrival cocktails as upgrades. Wedding couples can choose an all-inclusive package that bundles food, drinks, linen, a cake table and staffing, and guests can stay on site in the hotel's suites. Morning corporate and breakfast functions are also hosted, so send an enquiry to plan yours.
