About The Henley Brook
The Henley Brook is a family-friendly pub on West Swan Road in the Swan Valley, known locally as The Hen. It pours more than twenty craft beers on tap and runs a pub kitchen that leans on Swan Valley and WA produce. Three areas can be hired for functions, each with a set hire fee. The Verandah is a country-style space of 50 square metres overlooking the paddock, suited to 25 to 40 guests. The Half Marquee is the rear half of the outdoor marquee, 100 square metres with artificial lawn and festoon lighting, for 40 to 60 guests. It looks straight out over the big grassed area of the property. The 4 Pines Bar is the roomiest at 150 square metres under the old red gums for 60 to 90 guests. Hire includes your own private bar, a dedicated bartender and your choice of music, and it is available from October to March. Catering comes from the functions menu, priced per person: six hot and cold options for $36 or eight for $48. Choices run from antipasto and bruschetta boards to arancini, lamb cigars, mini pies and chicken wings, with sliders, squid cones and satay skewers as add-ons. The pub keeps a family atmosphere, so 18th and 21st birthdays, hens and bucks parties and fancy dress are not taken. Celebration cakes are fine with no cakeage, and there is a large car park on site.

Which areas can be booked for a function?
The Verandah holds 25 to 40 guests, the Half Marquee 40 to 60, and the 4 Pines Bar 60 to 90. The 4 Pines Bar can only be hired from October to March.
How much does it cost to hire an area?
Area hire is from $300 for the Verandah, $500 for the Half Marquee and $950 for the 4 Pines Bar. On top of hire, every function orders catering from the functions menu at a per-person price.
What food is served at functions?
The functions menu is $36 per person for six hot and cold options or $48 for eight. Substantial add-ons such as beef sliders, squid cones and satay skewers are $8 per person for each choice, and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are marked.
Are 18ths, 21sts, hens or bucks parties allowed?
No. The pub keeps a family-friendly setting and does not take 18th or 21st birthdays, hens or bucks groups, fancy dress, wine tour groups or party buses.
How do deposits and final numbers work?
The area hire fee is paid as a deposit to secure the date, and it is not refunded if you cancel within 14 days. Final numbers and menu choices are due ten days out, and catering is prepaid seven days before the function.
