About Nikola Estate
Nikola Estate is a winery on Dale Road in Middle Swan, on grounds that were once run by Houghton. The property mixes working vineyards with heritage buildings, lawns and a long row of old jacaranda trees, and it has its own restaurant, Woodcutters, and a cellar door. Weddings are the estate's main event offer, with ceremony and reception packages for 60 to 260 guests. Ceremonies can be held in a small white chapel set in the chardonnay vines, under the jacarandas, beside 100-year-old Norfolk pines, among the pavilion vines or in the Secret Garden. For the reception, The Pavilion is the main space, an open structure that can be styled from scratch. The Old Cellar is an enclosed room with chandeliers and a darker, intimate feel, while The Barn is lined with aged wine barrels. The 1836 Lawns suit an exclusive outdoor reception under the trees, and the Trellis is a lit outdoor setting available on weekdays only. Marquees can also be put up on the grounds for alfresco events. Corporate functions use the Jack Mann Room, named after a former chief winemaker, along with a boardroom and an alfresco area. A projector, screens, whiteboards, a microphone and speakers are available. Packages are built around seasonal local produce and the estate's own wines. In the restaurant, group set menus suit gatherings of 15 or more.
