About Mulberry Estate
Mulberry Estate is a purpose-built function centre on Hamersley Road in Caversham, in the Swan Valley. Its grounds slope down to the Swan River, with manicured lawns, native bush and three outdoor spots used for wedding ceremonies. Every indoor room has floor-to-ceiling glass looking over the gardens and river. The main hall is the upstairs Mulberry Room, with high raked ceilings, seating 70 to 280 guests or holding 400 for a cocktail event. Smaller groups have plenty of choice. The Burgundy Room seats up to 130, the Champagne Room up to 80, the Garden Pavilion up to 80 and The Taphouse up to 40, while the Riverview Gardens take up to 150 seated or 300 standing for an outdoor reception. Food comes from the estate's own kitchen. Plated set menus run from a two-course classic to a four-canapé package with three pre-ordered mains, buffets add a carvery and seafood at the top level, and a cocktail menu covers six cold, six warm, two substantial and two dessert canapés. Drinks are sold as standard, premium or deluxe packages for five or six hours, with a non-alcoholic version, or as a bar tab. Cocktails and spirits can be added to any package. The estate is a multi-room venue, so another event may be running on the same day. Lunch functions finish by 5pm and evening events by midnight; send an enquiry to check dates and book a tour.

Set menus start at $100 per person, buffets at $110 per person and the cocktail menu is $115 per person. A non-refundable $1,500 deposit confirms a booking, and functions on public holidays carry a surcharge on food and drinks.
Food
The cocktail menu offers six cold, six warm, two substantial and two dessert canapés. Seminar lunches and morning or afternoon teas are available for daytime corporate groups, and dietary needs are handled with notice.
Beverages
A bar tab on consumption is the alternative to a package. Outside food and drink is not permitted apart from a celebration cake.

Friday to Sunday room hire ranges from $1,200 for The Taphouse to $2,200 for the Mulberry Room or the Riverview Gardens. Midweek and winter rates are roughly half, from $600 to $1,100, and every room includes TV and AV.
What are the food packages?
Plated set menus are $100, $110, $125 or $145 per person, buffets are $110, $125 or $145 per person, and the cocktail menu is $115 per person. Dietary needs can be catered for with prior notice.
Which occasions does the estate host besides weddings?
The events team runs birthdays, engagements, bridal and baby showers, Christmas functions, corporate seminars, school balls, dinner dances and graduations. Packages can be adjusted to suit the group and budget.
Is the venue accessible for guests with limited mobility?
Yes, every function room and ceremony location is wheelchair accessible. The estate also has buggies to move guests with mobility issues around the grounds.
