About The Balcony @ The Bassendean Hotel

The Bassendean Hotel has traded on Old Perth Road since 1930 and still carries much of its original 1930s character. It has several function spaces, and the upstairs Balcony is the one built for a party. The Balcony wraps around the corner above Old Perth Road and Parker Street, with its own outdoor bar. Ceiling fans keep it comfortable on warm nights and retractable blinds close it in when the weather turns. It can be booked in sections, with the Old Perth Road side taking about 70 guests and the Parker Street side about 60. Groups of 50 or more can reserve part of it, and the whole balcony can be hired exclusively for up to 130 standing. Function food starts with grazing tables of local cheeses, cured meats and fruit for groups of 50 or more. Canapé packages, share platters and a two or three course set menu are also on offer, with dietary options labelled. Drinks packages run for two to four hours at three levels, with a spirit upgrade or a cocktail on arrival as extras. A bar tab or cash bar also works, so send an enquiry with your date and numbers to get started.
