About Murphy's Irish Pub

Murphy's Irish Pub sits on Mandurah Terrace, facing the foreshore and Mandjar Bay. It opened in 2008 and is still locally owned, with Guinness, Kilkenny and Magners among the beers on tap alongside wines, spirits and cocktails. The pub hosts functions from small groups of 10 up to 150 guests. There are indoor areas and climate-controlled outdoor spaces, and the ground-floor function spaces carry no hire charge. Upstairs, the Sky Bar has its own bar and kitchen with views over the water, and it can also be booked for functions. A 10-person lift keeps both levels accessible. Food can be ordered from the à la carte menu, chosen from set function menus, or served as gourmet canapés and platters for a cocktail-style crowd. The create-your-own set menu is $37 per person for two courses or $45 for three, for groups of 15 or more. Drinks can run on an electronic bar tab arranged before the day and capped at the amount you choose. Guests on the tab get colour-coded wristbands at no charge. Live music is a big part of the pub, with bands on Friday and Saturday nights and screens for sport. Function bookings need at least seven working days' notice.

We had a table of 8 and all ordered fish n chips. It was fairly average and bit in consistant with the size and dressing on some people's salad and not others. Not bad for pub grub but might not choose the fish n chips a…
