About Oakover Grounds
Oakover Grounds is a Swan Valley property on Yukich Close in Middle Swan, built around a lake and wide lawns. It runs a restaurant called The Barrelhouse, a smokehouse, a tasting lab and cellar door, and a lakeside building that hosts events. Functions here cover relaxed lunches by the water, formal dinners, corporate events and product launches, plus birthdays and anniversaries. The venue takes weddings and large functions on any day of the week. The Lakehouse sits on the water and closes to the public when a wedding or function has it booked. The Barrelhouse has a few tables inside among the barrels, with most of its seating out on a verandah looking over the lake. The simplest food option is The Graze, a grazing table of baked savouries, cheeses, cured meats, antipasto, fruit and dips for groups of 20 or more. Lakeside Social is a fuller package with a grazing table, a choice of eight canapés and a run of pizzas, for 50 guests or more. Desserts can be added to the larger package, served alternate drop or as a dessert bar, and many dishes are marked gluten free, vegetarian or vegan.
