About The Stables

The Stables is a bar and restaurant at 888 Hay Street in the Perth CBD, set inside one of the city's original horse stables from the late nineteenth century. You walk in through iron gates and down a cobblestone path, away from the street noise. Downstairs, the Courtyard holds up to 120 and has a fireplace for winter, while The Alley takes 60 in a semi-private spot that is still close to the action. A DJ booth sits near the main bar. Upstairs, the Dining Room seats 110 or holds 150 standing, and it opens to a balcony with city skyline views and an undercover terrace. Booking the whole upper level gives you space for up to 250, and a lift serves every floor. Little Stables, at the street front, has its own entrance, two bars and dedicated bathrooms. The Front Shop works for arrival drinks, and the Basement below seats 50 or holds 60 standing. The in-house kitchen covers canapés, grazing tables, share-style banquets and set menus, and drinks run as timed packages, a bar tab or a cash bar. A functions coordinator helps tailor the event, and you can send an enquiry to check dates.
