About 8 Knots Tavern
8 Knots Tavern sits on Riverside Road in East Fremantle, right at the edge of the Swan River. It trades as a bistro and bar, with an alfresco area where dogs are welcome. Function areas are spread across indoor and outdoor parts of the venue, each facing the water. Standard spaces take groups of 20 or more, and a seated set menu is available from 10 guests. The Observation Deck suits 20 to 100 guests, with bi-fold doors, balcony access and low tables. The Quarter Deck holds 20 to 50 around a fireplace near the upper bar, while Riverside seats 20 to 80 for long lunches and dinners. For more privacy, the Private Terrace joins the two decks for 100 to 150 guests. Private Riverside gives groups their own bar and a private section of the waterfront, and full venue hire is also available on request. Catering ranges from canapés and platters for 12 to pizzas, a high tea and sit-down set menus from $45 per person. Drinks can run as a bar tab with your own limit, as a cash bar, or as a mix of both. The venue hosts birthdays from 21 upwards, engagement parties, baby showers, anniversaries, reunions, weddings and corporate functions. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers to begin.
