About Two80 Cabaret
Two80 Cabaret is on Cleveland Street in Surry Hills, and unlike most show rooms it was designed for performance from the start rather than adapted later. The interior is intentionally opulent, but the real money went into the lights and the sound, so a performance here looks and sounds the way it should. Capacity is 160 standing, 120 in cabaret or theatre layout, or 80 seated for dinner. A projector, flatscreen TV, PA and air conditioning are in the room, along with storage for anything you bring. The venue lists burlesque, comedy, live bands and circus among the events it hosts, as well as hens parties and birthdays. Bookings are exclusive, so the whole room is yours, which counts when you're selling tickets or working to a run sheet. If your party includes an actual performance, whether that's an act, a band or a compère, the venue already has the production gear that you'd otherwise pay to bring in.
