About LinQ Bar @ Shelbourne Hotel
The Shelbourne Hotel sits on Sussex Street on the CBD's western side, a short stroll from Wynyard and Darling Harbour. LinQ Bar is the hotel's function bar, arranged around lounge seating so guests settle into small clusters instead of standing in a row along the walls. It feels light and casual. The colours are neutral, woven rattan lights hang over wooden tables, the floor is dark tile, the windows are tall and there are plants throughout, with a short white picket divider splitting the seating into areas. The highlight is the courtyard next door: green, private and out of the way of the street. Capacity is 150 standing or 70 seated. Every table, stool and lounge can be rearranged, so it works for a cocktail party or a sit-down lunch. Music runs through a PA with speakers in the ceiling, and you can bring in a DJ or play your own. There's a good choice of vegan and gluten-free food. The bar has wheelchair access and air conditioning, and the hotel offers a full-day meeting package in the space too.
