About Lady Fairfax Room @ Paradox Sydney
Paradox Sydney stands on O'Connell Street, toward the northern end of the CBD, and keeps the Lady Fairfax Room as its main space for events. What sets it apart is the daylight. A run of tall Georgian-style windows faces Pitt Street, so a lunch or an afternoon function feels bright and open rather than closed in. For a cocktail reception the room takes 120 guests. Seated, it fits 85 for a dinner or a theatre-style session, 60 in cabaret layout and 46 around a single boardroom table. Smaller groups needn't feel lost in it, because the space can be partitioned into a cosier room. Product launches, high teas, engagement drinks, private dinners and other celebrations all suit it. Catering comes from the hotel's own kitchen, which offers halal menus along with a wide range of vegan and gluten-free dishes. For the formal part of an event there's a PA, a projector and screen, and gear for conference calls. And since Paradox is a hotel, guests travelling from out of town can stay in the same building.
