About Kuro Bar & Dining

Kuro Bar & Dining is on Kent Street in the western CBD, and its dining room is one of the most distinctive in the city: 56 parallel illuminated oak beams run from floor to ceiling, framing dark marble tables in a warm, modern space. It seats up to 54 or holds 80 standing, which suits a private dinner, a cocktail reception, a corporate function or a wedding celebration. A ceiling-mounted blind divides the room into three separate sections, so it can host a more intimate group or a multi-part event without feeling empty. The room is soundproofed, air-conditioned and has a PA system. The kitchen serves Japanese food, with an extensive gluten-free menu. Minimum spends depend on the session: lunch from $4,000 and dinner from $6,000 Tuesday to Thursday, and lunch from $8,000 and dinner from $10,000 on Fridays and Saturdays. The venue is closed on Sundays and Mondays, and licensed until 2am.
