About Como Room @ Bar Lulu
Bar Lulu is upstairs in Campbells Cove's heritage wharf buildings on Circular Quay West, in The Rocks, with the Harbour Bridge to one side and the Opera House over the water. Its function space, the Como Room, makes no effort to hide the building's past. Stone walls are left bare, timber beams cross a low ceiling and the windows are arched, with hardwood underfoot and warm pendant lights above. Music and mingling are what it's built for. A PA runs through fixed speakers, there's a DJ connection in the room and a clear dance floor, and bringing your own music is fine. Immersive visuals can also be projected over the walls, which lifts an ordinary party into one guests remember. Capacity is 220 standing or 150 seated. The menu is Asian-inspired and made in the venue's own kitchen, with halal menus and wide vegan and gluten-free choices. The room gets natural light and has Wi-Fi and air conditioning, plus step-free access and accessible toilets. It's a good match for a big birthday, engagement drinks or a work end-of-year party where people want to dance.
