Daniel Kukec is a Sydney photographer working from a loft studio on Thames Street in Balmain. Before photography became his full-time job he trained as a landscape architect, held corporate roles at Macquarie Bank and ran events in the UK, so he is as comfortable at a boardroom lunch as at a ballroom gala. His commercial clients have included American Express, Jaguar, Nokia, Siemens, Meta and Western Sydney University, and he has photographed hundreds of weddings. His event work spans Christmas parties, cocktail functions, networking nights, product launches, business openings, awards nights, media events, brand activations, music events, film festivals and luxury private functions, along with conferences and expos. He watches for people, atmosphere and the moments that carry the night, from speeches and panels to candid guest interactions, branding and venue details.
