About Underworld Laser
Underworld Laser is a locally owned laser tag arena on the first floor of 44-60 Allison Crescent in Menai, part of the Club Central precinct, with plenty of undercover parking. The arena is a dim maze of ramps, glowing walls, fog effects and loud music, and the game uses infrared phasers and sensor vests, so nothing is fired and there's no physical contact. Each mission takes about 15 minutes all up: a three-minute briefing and kit-up, ten minutes of play and a short debrief. Up to 25 players fit in the arena at once. Birthday parties are the core business, and every party booking gets the arena to itself plus a host and a party room. Alpha is $399 for eight guests with three missions over an hour and a half; Bravo is $479 for eight with four missions over two hours; and Echo, offered on Thursdays and Fridays, is $349 for eight with three missions. Packages include a hot food choice, soft drink and water, chips and lollies, and party invitations, with an ice-cream cake and lolly bags added on Alpha and Bravo. Parties top out at 25 guests. Beyond birthdays, the venue can be booked out for corporate groups, team-building days, sports teams, scout groups and Christmas parties. Players need to be at least six, and six-year-olds play alongside an adult; there's no upper age limit. Enclosed shoes are compulsory and a top with sleeves is recommended under the vests. The arena is air-conditioned, the ramps are DDA compliant and players using wheelchairs can join in. Alcohol and drugs are banned on site and before playing, and every booking has to be made in advance.

How much is a laser tag party?
Packages start at $349 for eight guests with Echo, which runs on Thursdays and Fridays. Alpha is $399 and Bravo $479 for eight, and extra guests cost $29, $34 or $43 each depending on the package, up to 25 guests. A $100 deposit confirms the booking.
How old do players need to be?
The minimum age is six, and six-year-olds need an adult with them in the arena. There's no maximum age, so parents and grandparents are welcome to play.
Will we have the arena to ourselves?
Party bookings come with exclusive use of the arena. Casual Mission Madness bookings may share the arena with other players.
What food comes with a party package?
You pick one hot option: pizza, party pies and sausage rolls, or popcorn chicken, each with hot chips. Soft drink, water, chips and lollies are included too, and Alpha and Bravo add an ice-cream cake and lolly bags.
What should players wear?
Enclosed shoes with good grip are a must; thongs, sandals, slides, heels and bare feet aren't allowed. A shirt with sleeves is better than a singlet under the vests, and darker clothes make it easier to stay hidden.

This is a great little venue for Lazer tag, popular for birthday parties. Would be great if it was promoted as a casual venue as an alternative indoor play space on a rainy day.
