About Heartbreak Ridge Paintball
Heartbreak Ridge Paintball is an outdoor skirmish field on Maxwell Avenue in Milperra that has been running for more than 25 years. Games play out over jungle, swamps, creeks, bridges, bunkers and trenches, with battle zones styled like film sets. Every group is split into two opposing teams wearing different coloured masks, and the scenarios range from capturing bases to rescuing hostages. The standard way to book is a $60 starter pack per player, which covers park entry, a semi-automatic marker, goggles and 300 paintballs. On the day, players can step up to 700 shots for an extra $50 or 1,000 shots for an extra $70, and more paintballs can be bought in blocks from 100 for $20. Organisers earn free bonus paintballs based on group size, doubled if the booking is confirmed 14 days ahead. Bucks, hens and birthday groups can choose a package instead: $440 for eight players, $640 for twelve or $990 for twenty, each with $60 per extra player, and the staff can run special games around the guest of honour, who is welcome to play in fancy dress. Players arrive at 9am to register and get kitted up, followed by a safety briefing at 9.30am and the first game at 10am. Games run in short rounds with rest breaks, when drinks, snacks and extra paintballs can be bought. Everyone must be 12 or older, and under 18s need a signed parent consent form. Wear light clothing with long sleeves and sturdy shoes, no thongs or sandals, and bring photo ID. Female players get free gloves, chest and neck protection.

How many players do we need to book?
There is no minimum on weekends. For a weekday game you need at least 12 players, and the field opens exclusively for your group.

What is the minimum age?

How long does a game day last?
Arrive at 9am for registration, the safety briefing starts at 9.30am and games begin at 10am. Party packages allow roughly one and a half to two hours of play with at least 300 shots each.
