Bucks Party Venues on the Northern Beaches

How Bucks Party Venues Actually Work

A Northern Beaches bucks usually picks one of three bases. Brookvale has the brewery taprooms, Manly has a rooftop and a hidden basement bar, and Terrey Hills adds golf.

Each area sets a different pace, so it's worth deciding what kind of day the groom would enjoy before choosing a venue.

How the three bucks areas differ:

Brookvale breweries: 7th Day Brewery and 4 Pines Truck Bar pour their own beer, with games, live music on weekends and room for big crews.
Manly nights: Rooftop Garden Bar @ New Brighton Hotel gives the group a whole rooftop, and The Cumberland hides a 75-seat bar behind a deli fridge door.
Terrey Hills golf: Shortees Golf runs a par 3 pitch and putt course where bucks groups tee off before midday.
Budget: Brookvale is the most relaxed on spend, while Manly's rooftop works on a minimum spend.
Crew size: the taprooms and golf course suit large groups, and the Manly venues top out at 75.

Plenty of crews start with a morning round or a brewery session and finish with drinks in Manly.

Booking a space at 7th Day Brewery costs nothing, the bar has no spend to hit, and The Alley comes with arcade games and foosball.
4 Pines Truck Bar serves around 20 taps from a 1960 Dodge pickup on the brewery floor, with canapé packages From $39 per person.
Both taprooms have a pool table and a big screen for the footy.
Italian share platters next door or the brewery's two-course menu keep the crew fed.

Manly or Terrey Hills for something different

On The Corso, the Rooftop Garden Bar @ New Brighton Hotel rooftop goes to one group at a time, with private bartenders, From $3,500 minimum spend.
The Cumberland can be hired outright for a bucks night, or a crew of at least six can take a two-hour mixing lesson.
Shortees Golf adds a drinks cart, hire clubs and a diner for a casual lunch after the round.
Golf suits a daytime start, while the Manly bars suit the evening leg.
