About Fly By Fun
Fly By Fun has been running children's parties in Sydney since 2008 and has now entertained at more than 50,000 parties and events. Its entertainers arrive in costume for the theme you pick, and there are more than 100 to choose from: fairies, princesses, clowns and superheroes, plus current TV and movie characters, dinosaur fossil hunts and puppy adoption parties. The team also entertains at the Sydney and Westmead children's hospitals, Bear Cottage and Ronald McDonald House, and works with charities including Starlight and Make-a-Wish. In Sydney, a 60-minute party costs $299 and suits up to 15 children. It includes themed musical games, a scavenger hunt, pass the parcel, a magic book trick, parachute games, balloon twisting, bubbles and limbo, with slap bands, stickers and lollipops as prizes. The 90-minute party at $349 is designed for about 20 children and adds face painting or glitter tattoos. The two-hour party is $399. Separate bookings are available for face painters, balloon twisters, magic shows, giant bubble artists, mascots, caricaturists and reptile shows. Entertainers come to your home, a local park or a hired venue and bring the music, costumes, prizes and equipment. Every entertainer has a current Working With Children Check and public liability insurance. One entertainer looks after up to 20 children. As a guide, allow an hour for up to 12 children, 90 minutes for 12 to 20, and two hours for bigger groups. For corporate family days, bring-your-kids-to-work days and Christmas parties, Fly By Fun provides roving entertainers and an on-site coordinator.

How much does a Fly By Fun party cost in Sydney?
A 60-minute themed party is $299 for up to 15 children. The 90-minute party is $349 for around 20 children and adds face painting or glitter tattoos. A 120-minute party is $399.
What's included in a themed party?
The entertainer comes in costume and runs themed musical games, a scavenger hunt, pass the parcel, a magic book trick, parachute games, balloon twisting, bubbles and limbo. They bring the music, equipment and prizes, including slap bands, stickers and lollipops.
How long should the party be?
Fly By Fun suggests one hour for up to 12 children, 90 minutes for 12 to 20 children, and two hours for more than 20. Each entertainer looks after up to 20 children. Face painting takes about 3 to 4 minutes per child.
Do they offer face painting, balloon twisting and magic separately?
Yes. As well as themed parties, you can book face painters, balloon twisters and magic shows on their own. Giant bubble artists, mascots, caricaturists and reptile shows are available too, including for corporate events.
How do deposits and cancellations work?
Private bookings need a non-refundable $100 deposit, and the balance is due at least 10 days before the party. Cancelling within 7 days costs 50%, and within 24 hours 100%. Weather or illness reschedules are held as a 12-month credit. Some locations attract a travel fee, and parking may be charged if there's no free parking.
