It is owned and run by women, and the format is built around fun rather than fine art: a host who is a professional artist leads the group through two hours of drawing games and quick sketching challenges while a professional nude model poses. Pricing works on a sliding scale. Groups of 26 or more pay $35 per person, 19 to 25 pay $40, 16 to 18 pay $45 and 14 to 15 pay $50, while groups of 13 or fewer pay a minimum total from $650, which can vary with the venue. There is no minimum number of guests, and typical Sydney groups top out at around 30. Two small groups can combine to bring the per-person price down, otherwise the studio is yours alone. A $300 deposit secures the booking, and sessions run seven days a week, with Saturdays filling first. If the studios are booked, the team can travel to your home, Airbnb or venue across greater Sydney, where sessions run for an hour and a half. Most venues are BYO for food and drinks, and there is a 10 to 15 minute settling-in time to pour a glass before the model arrives. All materials are provided, guests keep their drawings, and the session ends with a group photo with the model. Male models are standard, female models are available on request, mixed groups are welcome and there is no age limit.
