About Coogee Beach Club
Coogee Beach Club is a bowling club on Dolphin Street in Coogee with indoor and outdoor seating, a bar and a bistro serving modern classics with a Brazilian twist. It runs barefoot bowls for social groups and workplaces from Wednesday to Sunday, and is a sister club to The Avenue in Randwick. A barefoot bowls booking costs $145 for a lane and two hours of play, priced for up to eight players, and you are welcome to share a lane among more people. A bowls coordinator is on site to demonstrate before you start, so nobody needs to have played before. For staff Christmas parties and team-building days, the club takes corporate bookings at the same lane rate through its functions team, and you can combine bowls with hire of the restaurant or the sheltered outdoor patio, which looks out over the greens. Function menus are available on enquiry, and bookings of several tables are treated as a function with a minimum spend and prepayment. The club does not allow outside food or drinks, pets other than working animals, or jumping castles and similar hire equipment. Picnic and bar tables are walk-in only and cannot be reserved. Children's parties can be held in the patio area only. The green is closed for repairs from 14 September and reopens on 6 November, so check dates if you are planning around that window.
