Hens Party Venues in Haymarket

How to Choose the Right Hens Party Venue

A mechanical bull rodeo is not the usual opening act for a hens night, but at Side Bar on Pitt Street it is one of the themes a bridal party can book.

The club names hens nights among the events it hosts, and it sits across the road from Central, a few minutes from the Chinatown karaoke rooms where the night can carry on.

Ways to shape the hens night in Haymarket:

A themed party: Side Bar can add a UV party with makeup artists, foam, circus games or a DJ and saxophone duo, with drinks packages from $49 per person.
A private sing-along for the bridal party: Sugar Karaoke's luxury rooms take 4 to 20, with chesterfields, neon-trimmed ceilings and a waiter, from $800 minimum spend.
Budget singing for a bigger group: Maze Karaoke's VIP rooms fit groups beyond 30, from $14 per person per hour.
A stage for the bride-to-be: Dynasty Lounge @ Dynasty Karaoke has a stage, a dance floor and a giant LED screen for 50 to 100, from $1,500 minimum spend.
A late finish: Maze, Sugar Karaoke and Dynasty Lounge all trade until 4am.

Plan the order of stops around opening times: Maze opens at 2pm for an afternoon session, Side Bar at 4pm and Sugar Karaoke at 8pm.

Side Bar can book a photographer or videographer and put your own images on the LED screen.
Maze's rooms have adjustable coloured lighting and lounge seating, and its VIP rooms add four wireless mics for group numbers.
Sugar Karaoke's four larger rooms each come with a private bathroom.
Dynasty Lounge's screen can run a slideshow of the bride, and a DJ you bring can play through the house sound.

Keeping the group fed

Side Bar serves arancini, skewers, sliders, platters and pizzas by the piece or platter.
Maze sends share plates and grilled skewers to the room, and outside food isn't allowed.
Sugar Karaoke's packages include snacks and a fruit platter.
Dynasty's kitchen sends out modern Chinese dishes, with party platter packages for groups.
