About Fastlane Karting

Fastlane Karting has been running hire karts on Swettenham Road in Minto since 1996, just three minutes off the M5 and about an eight-minute walk from public transport. It is an outdoor centre with two tracks: the front circuit for drivers aged 13 and over, and a rear circuit that hosts drift karting for drivers 16 and up, with junior and twin karts for younger kids. Sessions run in 10-minute blocks, and every driver needs a Fastlane membership, which costs $12 for 12 months. Groups are where Fastlane is set up best. The race-your-mates package, for a minimum of eight adult drivers at $100 per person, gives you a 10-minute practice, a 10-minute qualifier and a 15-minute grid-start final, plus helmet, membership, a reserved seating area and a winner's T-shirt or trophy, and the 12th driver races free. Groups of more than 15 get the party bus area. Teen parties (ages 12 to 17, minimum six drivers) run at $75 or $85 per person. For corporate events of 20 or more, the team can arrange exclusive venue hire, after-hours racing, team enduros, catering and your company branding on the track. Fastlane is a non-alcoholic venue. Pizza can be added for $6 per person from 11am, and tea, coffee, drinks and snacks are sold at the counter. There are indoor, outdoor and undercover areas, plus a viewing deck for those not driving. It suits birthdays, teen parties, bucks parties and work Christmas parties where people want real competition rather than a casual spin.

Front circuit (13+) sessions are $39 for one 10-minute session, $72 for two and $100 for three. Drift karting on the rear circuit (16+) is $45 per 10-minute session. Junior and twin kart sessions are $30, $60 or $85. Groups of eight or more drivers pay $100 per person for three sessions with membership included, and the race-your-mates package is $100 per person with the 12th driver free. Teen party packages are $75 per person for two sessions or $85 for three. All drivers need a $12 annual membership unless it is included in their package.

Food

Pizza can be added to a party for $6 per person (half a pizza each, from 11am), with tea, coffee, drinks and snacks sold at the counter; catering packages are available for corporate events.
