About Extreme Indoor Go Karting
Extreme Indoor Go Karting is on Christina Road in Villawood, across the road from Leightonfield Station between Villawood and Chester Hill. It runs three indoor tracks. The Extreme track is a technical circuit of about 500m with a double underpass, used on weekdays outside school and public holidays. The Sprint track, about 300m, runs on weekends and holidays and includes an indoor bridge with banked corners. Both use petrol senior karts with a top speed of 80km/h. The Rookie track, about 200m, is for drivers aged 6 to 12 with speed-capped karts. For groups, the Grand Prix style race meets are the main option. They range from the McLaren package, with a qualifying session and a 15 minute final, to the Extreme package, which adds practice, quarter-finals and semi-finals. The smaller packages need at least 10 drivers and the bigger ones at least 8, and each includes a day licence. Whole groups can also hire the track privately for anything from half an hour to six hours, and a corporate room can be booked for time off the track. Kids parties for ages 6 to 12 include exclusive track use and two hours in the party room. Senior karts are for drivers 13 and over, junior karts cover ages 10 to 14, and double karts let an adult driver take a young passenger. Every driver and passenger needs a $10 licence, valid for 12 months, and first-timers need photo ID. Enclosed shoes are required, loose clothing is not allowed, and a hairnet or balaclava is worn under the helmet. There is parking on site and in the street, and the venue can point groups to a private shuttle bus service.

What group packages does Extreme Indoor Go Karting offer?
Grand Prix style race meets run from the McLaren package at $99 per person to the Extreme package at $209 per person. The McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull packages need at least 10 drivers, and the Ferrari and Extreme packages at least 8.
How much is a single race?
An arrive-and-drive race in a senior kart costs $40 for 10 minutes, $70 for two races and $90 for three. Every driver also needs a $10 licence, valid for 12 months.
Is there a minimum age for karting?
Senior petrol karts are for drivers aged 13 and over, junior karts for ages 10 to 14, and electric rookie karts for younger drivers on weekends and holidays. Drivers under 18 need adult consent.
What should we wear?
Enclosed shoes and casual clothing with nothing loose. A hairnet or balaclava must be worn under the helmet.
Can we hire the track for a private event?
Yes. Private track hire for eight karts costs $700 for half an hour or $1,200 for an hour, with each extra kart adding 10 percent. A corporate room is available for $50 per 30 minutes outside track time.
