About Floral Fix
Floral Fix is a flower studio in Peregrine Drive, Cronulla, run by owner and lead designer Yolande, who has spent around ten years making florals for celebrations around Sydney. Every arrangement is built at the studio from blooms chosen at the flower markets that week, so designs follow the season rather than a fixed catalogue. The event side covers bouquets and buttonholes, ceremony and arbour florals, grazing table and long table arrangements, bud vases with candles for smaller tables, and suspended installations, with engagement parties, christenings and weddings all handled the same way. There are no set packages for larger events. Floral Fix quotes each one after an enquiry to check the date, an online questionnaire and a phone consultation, with a meeting closer to the day, so the flowers suit the room and the budget. Smaller pre-designed flower packages can be ordered online for simpler celebrations and elopements. Styling and decor is available to hire alongside the florals, including white, wooden, triangle and black Luna arches, a copper arch, ivory draping, geometric installations, table top towers, hanging hoops and planks, wishing wells, easels, candleware, bud and crystal vases and metal wine crates; hire is offered to clients booking their flowers rather than on its own. Flower crown workshops run separately for hens days, kitchen teas, baby showers and birthday parties, taking one and a half to two hours at a venue you choose with all equipment and seasonal blooms supplied. Event florals are delivered and set up by the studio at a time agreed during planning, a $200 booking fee holds a date, and hire items go back within 48 hours. Retail flowers are delivered Monday to Saturday across the Sutherland Shire.

What can Floral Fix supply for an engagement party or celebration?

How far ahead should I book?
For weddings the studio suggests six to twelve months, since only a limited number are taken each weekend, and details can keep changing until about six weeks out. Pre-designed flower packages need at least 28 days notice, with four to six months recommended. Workshop numbers are confirmed three weeks before the date.
What do the flowers cost?
Flower crown workshops are $60 per person in the Sutherland Shire and $65 per person for the rest of Sydney, with a minimum of ten people. Event and wedding florals are quoted individually; the studio says most couples spend between $3,500 and $7,000 on wedding flowers and suggests allowing 10 to 15 per cent of the budget.
Which areas do you cover?
The studio is in Cronulla and delivers flowers Monday to Saturday across the Sutherland Shire. Event and wedding work goes right across Sydney and out to the Illawarra and Wollongong, the South Coast, the Southern Highlands, the Northern Beaches, the Blue Mountains and the Hunter Valley. A delivery fee can apply depending on the suburb.
Do you deliver and set up on the day?
Yes. The studio delivers all the flowers itself and agrees the time and location with you during planning. For workshops the team travels to your venue with the equipment and blooms. Any hire items are returned within 48 hours of the event.
