About Fossix

Fossix runs two corporate cafes in the Sydney CBD, one at 56 Pitt Street and one in the Gateway building at Circular Quay, and has built a catering and functions business alongside them for more than seven years. The kitchen works from seasonal, locally sourced produce and bakes its own cakes and slices, and the catering side covers everything from office breakfasts to cocktail functions for up to 200 guests. For events, the main formats are canapés, grazing tables and stations, and share-style buffets. Canapé menus run from arancini and tartlets through to more substantial pieces such as prawn rolls, wagyu sliders and warm skewers. Grazing tables are built around French and Spanish cheeses, local cheeses, charcuterie and fruit. The large-share buffets come in six themes, including Korean BBQ, a Mexican spread with a taco station, a Greek table and an Italian buffet, and in December there is a Christmas buffet with glazed ham, turkey or cured salmon and desserts such as pavlova and Christmas pudding. Boardroom and executive dining is also available for sit-down lunches. Fossix delivers and sets up at your workplace, and can add a beverage package of Australian wines, craft beer and zero-alcohol options with glassware and RSA-certified staff. Menus cover vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free guests, with halal-friendly options on request. It suits work Christmas parties, farewells, milestone celebrations and client events in the city. The cafes and venue run Monday to Friday and close on weekends and public holidays, so plan on a weekday event.
